We shot The Call of Cthulhu in one single night of frenzied activity. This should pretty much be obvious once you watch it.
On an interesting note, The Call of Cthulhu was shot entirely using the MPEG mode of my Sony Mavica MVC-CD1000, which has a time limit of 15 seconds per shot. So, each take can be no longer than 15 seconds. When you include shooting ahead and shooting behind, that really trimmed us down. I tried being creative about the cuts, though, so maybe I pulled the whole thing off.
More news -- The Call of Cthulhu has just been accepted by the Portland International Short-Short Film Festival. Yay!
