Sarah L. GerhardtSarah L. Gerhardt
Sarah L. Gerhardt, 2nd Assistant Director of Flesh of my Flesh, is relatively new to the film industry. She is 31 years old, a writer and lives in Portland, Oregon with her boyfriend and her kitty. Sarah was raised just outside of Pittsburgh, PA, very close to where Romero made zombies a household word. She came to the set of FomF to fulfill a girlhood dream and become a zombie. Being an extra was so much fun, but she quickly found that she was even more intrigued by the behind the scenes stuff - so much so that she asked the Assistant Director what she could do to help. And that's how the story goes, not long after that Sarah dove in and became the Second Assistant Director/Zombie Mama.

Though she is new to the business, she has been very busy since the wrap of FomF production. Sarah was Associate Producer of a local Public Access show called "NW Artist Spotlight". She was also Assistant Director for a short film titled Buzz. Currently she is working on a team for the 48 hour film project, as well as working on a script for her own short film, a novella and don't forget to look out for her comic book "The Ticket" coming soon. Sarah works at Lurker Films for her "day job".
Karyn HarmonKaryn Harmon
Prior to her involvement with Guerrilla Productions, the majority of Karyn's time was spent with a completely different kind of hominid, assisting with research at the OHSU Primate Institute. She started working with Guerrilla Productions with Flesh of my Flesh, working behind the scenes assisting the production with makeup and overall wrangling, as well as in front of the camera as an aggressive extra.
Ryan K. JohnsonRyan K. Johnson
Ryan K. Johnson, 43, is an independent filmmaker living in Seattle who has produced two dozen shorts ranging from parodies to thrillers. His movies have shown at the Seattle International Film Festival, Bumbershoot and on the BBC. He works on local productions as a cinematographer and editor, and is currently editing a feature, "The Vampire Strikes Back."
Michelle KrauseMichelle Krause
Michelle Krause was born on a dark and stormy night.....stop. She was actually born on a Saturday morning at around 10:45am in Burns, OR. Her mom missed cartoons that day and made her go see every Disney cartoon that came out in the theatres to make up for it. They lived all over the North West and Michelle became facinated with art and cartoons as they traveled.

Michelle colored on the walls regularly as a youth and built many things out of the chaff trying to make its way into the dumpster. She still has these facinations and has moved up to painting on the walls and building movie props out of the chaff along with some purchased supplies to fill in the gaps. She can be found doing wall murals or medical thespian work around the Portland area.
Amber LeaAmber Lea
Having recently returned to the makeup arena after an eight year hiatus, Amber's first project was lead makeup on Guerrilla Productions newest film "Flesh of my Flesh". After graduating from beauty school in the early 1990's, in addition to her then full time job as a paralegal, Amber worked with Schafer Studios doing bridal and prom makeup. Through Schafer Studios, Amber was also the lead makeup artist for Nike's New Faces of Fitness makeovers that were seen on AM Northwest. Although she spends her days as a computer software analyst, Amber is currently working in association with Movie Monkeys as lead makeup artist and production assistant on several upcoming short films that will be completed during the summer of 2005.

Leopoldo MarinoLeopoldo R. Mariño
Leopoldo Mariño started making short movies while studying film and computer science at Evergreen State College in Olympia Washington. His first shorts were stop motion projects which led Leopoldo to conclude that there are two kinds of dimensional animators: Those that are insane and those that are willing to be driven insane. Leopoldo teaches a yearly workshop on guerilla filmmaking, presents on panels on the subject of cult films and maintains a film news, review and discussion site at http://www.geekroar.com. Leopoldo works as assistant director for Guerilla Productions which has made many short movies and recently wrapped production of a feature length action movie.
Edward Martin IIIEdward Martin III
Creating at what many folks would describe as an "obscene rate", Edward is one of the principal drivers behind Guerrilla Productions. He's an award-winning poet, a professional writer of fiction, essay, and humor. He's published cartoons, written and edited for newspapers and comic books, written and published a wide variety of technical documents, both online and paper. He enjoys a spot of programming, preferably solving otherwise annoying numerical computations. He's made a number of small and very popular animations that now enjoy a new lease on life in the form of cell phone content.

Lately, most of his effort has been dedicated to producing short-form and feature length movies. His short The Testament of Tom Jacoby was referred to by movie critic and American essayist Joe Bob Briggs as "Ken Burns does horror" and has won several awards at film festivals. His most recent feature is an animated adaptation of H. P. Lovecraft's The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath and he's currently in post-production on Flesh of my Flesh, another feature, this time a live action fast-paced horror film with Lovecraftian elements. He's also in post-production on a live-action adaptation of The Statement of Randolph Carter. He's also scripting a new feature, tentatively titled "Through the Night" for another production company. And another couple of scripts for Guerrilla Productions.

"Obscene", remember?

Cyoakha Grace O'ManionCyoakha Grace O'Manion
Cyoakha Grace O'Manion is a writing, singing, performing maniac. She recently scored music for Guerilla Production's short Innsmouth Legacy, the entire soundtrack of their animated Lovecraft feature, The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath and is currently at work on their full-length feature zombie film, Flesh of my Flesh. She is the leader and award-winning composer-singer-producer for the Tribal-Trance-World band Land of the Blind, (SF and Portland) for the past 10 years. She also is a founding member of the Bay Area all women Celtic-Funk band, Druid Sisters Tea Party. She records with/sits in with other groups, such as San Francisco Prog-rockers, Azigza, and avant-noise group, Big City Orchestra, also SF. She tours as well as constantly creating new music, solo, for bands and for films. Next out from Cy is a live version of Blind on the road called Edgewalking, a live Druid CD and some work on the upcoming compilation Women Bring Back the Noise.
Steven PoorSteven Poor
Steve has played with video and theater since high school, with such dubiously noteworthy projects under his belt as suffering through 2 years running camera for Portland Wrestling in the early 1990's. He appeared briefly in Terror in The Towers (a bad NBC disaster movie about the twin towers bombing), Mystery Dance (Gates McFadden, Jane Curtain, never released), Braincrusher: A Love Story (Andrew Dice Clay, Teri Hatcher, terrible flick), an Oregon Lottery Commercial, and helping with sound reinforcement on Rick Emerson's "Bigger Than Jesus."

Steve is an NRA certified handgun safety trainer and graduate of Massad Ayoob's Lethal Force Institute. What better way to spend an afternoon than debating the best gun to use to destroy zombies?
Frank PrevattFrank Prevatt
Not much to say about Frank. He'll get in front of the camera. He'll get behind the scenes. He'll do just about anything that needs to be done. He's learned a little bit of everything...usually just enough to be dangerous.
Frank answers to almost anything. He laughs a lot. His hair comes from his power, and not the other way around. In the really real world, he's a freelance Computer Graphic Artist, doing corporate logos, animated advertisements, signs, stickers, you name it. He lives with an ex-model, a passel of rodents, and a step-son who likes to ask people if they've "Got Cthulhu?"

Greg StokerGreg Stoker
Though a latecomer to making movies, Greg has an extensive background that prepared him for his new avocation. He has built haunted houses for twenty five years. He has been an artist for magazines and Cleopatra records. His music background led him to being a roadie for several national and international acts as they toured the PNW. He was an extra in a music video by the local band Dahlia. His writing over the years has won awards for the short story form. He was even a gag writer for a short time for the Late Show with David Letterman in the 90s.

His latest passion is the making of a story in film. His first experience was in the art department for the local film, Flesh of my Flesh, where he received the chance to design and build several of the sets used in the movie. He is now currently grip/PA for the local cable show, NW Artist Spotlight. He is also currently in pre-production on several projects as set designer and builder. His short term goal is to experience the many facets of movie making to help him understand the complete picture of making a movie. His long term goal is to produce one of his own stories.
Sean StraussSean Strauss
Sean Strauss began his video production jaunt at the age of 16, when he documented a spiritual revival weekend called Happening and edited it as all beautiful young idiots do - with two VCRs.

Sean double-majored in Mass Communications and Theatre at the University of Denver, and by means of many, many sleepless nights, created a small library of moronic, violent productions in an attempt to rid himself of left-over teen angst. In 1995, Sean started Wonderblack Productions, which he continues to use as his pseudo production company today. Wonderblack currently has over 80 video productions under its knickers, with an emphasis on music-related videos, narratives, and documentaries.

Sean moved to Portland, Oregon in 2002, after having visited Movie Madness, and has since become involved in documenting the beautiful freaks of the music and performance art scenes. Sean's primary goal is to share his experience and ridiculous love of film with anyone who takes movie-making seriously and with a devilish grin.

Brett TramposhBrett Tramposh
By day a mild mannered Software QA Director, by night a video-crazed Cable Access TV Director! The two worlds are not so different really... Brett has worked in video production since high school in 1982, when 1/2 inch linear video editing was first adopted as the low cost solution. Over the past 10 years he has been producing entertainment and educational programs at MCTV in Gresham and has worked for PCM in Portland. "Flesh of My Flesh" was his first time working on a film crew, where he worked as grip and as gaffer and reportedly did whatever the DP told him!

Digital video has come a long way in 25 years of production, and Brett is always looking for the next cool project. To check out his latest venture as Producer of Northwest Artist Spotlight, go to http://www.nwartistspotlight.com or watch comcast cable access channel 11.
